Atithi Devobhava tells the story of a young man with Monophobia. While characters like Abhay should be funny, this film falls short in delivering the humor. The comedy feels lacking, and even the existing funny moments don’t quite hit the mark. The character’s development feels incomplete and lacks proper justification. The movie’s length of 133 minutes can leave you feeling unsatisfied, much like a 3.5-hour film. The first half is painful, with ineffective comedy and a love track that feels forced. The second half takes a different direction, but the rushed climax lacks the necessary dramatic impact. The lack of connection to the protagonist’s pain and the dragging plot make the film forgettable. It’s a disappointing experience for all involved, including the audience.
