Dhootha – Movie Review

Friendly Review : Dhootha

Oh man, I totally get where you’re coming from! It can be super frustrating when a TV series has a protagonist that just doesn’t click with you. πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈπŸ“Ί

The concept of the show sounds intriguing, and it definitely grabs your attention right from the start. But when it comes to Naga Chaitanya’s character, it’s like a rollercoaster of annoyance. He’s grumpy like a 45-year-old, talks as if he owns the whole media empire, but acts like a small-time criminal without a proper thought process. It’s confusing, right? πŸ€”

I get that they’re trying to create a dark and tense atmosphere to make the plot interesting, but it leaves us wondering who to root for throughout the story. And don’t even get me started on the unnecessary cuss words! It’s like they’re just throwing them in for no good reason, and it starts to grate on your nerves after a few episodes. 😀

You’ve made it through six episodes, and it sounds like you’re feeling just okay about it. Hopefully, the last two episodes will bring some sense and give a satisfying closure to the plot. If that happens, feel free to come back and edit your review! 🎬✍️

By the way, I agree that Vikram could have done a better job in making the lead characters more relatable. On the bright side, at least the camera work is neat and the background score is okay, even if it’s not super memorable.

“The writings in this show are absolutely top-notch, and the screenplay is excellent! πŸ“βœ¨ The actors really gave it their all, and they deserve a round of applause. But you know who deserves a standing ovation? Vikram! He did an outstanding job creating a blockbuster, edge-of-your-seat thriller. Just a heads up, though, this one’s not suitable for kids. πŸ‘€πŸ”ž

Now, let’s talk about the actors. Naga Chaitanya really brought his A-game, and I’m sure the Telugu audience will absolutely love his performance. And let’s not forget about Parvathi, Prachi, and Priya! They nailed their roles perfectly. 🌟 Every artist in this show was utilized to their fullest potential.

Spoiler alert! Brace yourself for the sixth episode, because it’s a wild ride! 🎒 There are so many positives to this show: the gripping screenplay, the fantastic writing, the amazing music, and the top-notch performances by the actors. The cinematography and production values are also on point. πŸŽ¬πŸ’―

If I had to nitpick, I’d say the show could have been about 30 minutes shorter. But honestly, that’s a minor issue, especially if you enjoy a clear and detailed plot explanation. Overall, this is the best Telugu straight OTT (over-the-top) show to date. πŸŽ‰πŸŽ₯
